IT WAS REALLOCATED TO CREWE DEPOT DURING 1989, AND WAS TAKEN OVER BY MIDLAND RED NORTH ON 25TH SEPTEMBER 1990, AND WAS GIVEN FLEET No 890.
REALLOCATED TO WELLINGTON IN 1991, WHERE IT STAYED FOR TWO YEARS BEFORE IT WAS TRANSFERRED TO MACCLESFIELD DURING 1993, THEN IN 1994, IT WAS SENT TO TAMWORTH FOR A FEW MONTHS BEFOUR IT FINALLY ARRIVED AT OSWESTRY DEPOT IN 1995, WHERE IT REMAINED UNTIL IT WAS SOLD IN AUGUST 2000 TO SMALL INDEPENDANT SHROPSHIRE LINK LTD IN SOUTH SHROPSHIRE.
GMB 390T WAS USED IN SERVICE FOR THE COMPANY, MAINLY ON LUDLOW - SHREWSBURY.
HOWEVER DUE TO THE COLLAPSE OF ËœSHROPSHIRE LINK" IT WENT INTO SERVICE FOR RUSSELL'S COACHES DURING NOVEMBER 2000.
390 WAS BOUGHT FOR PRESERVATION BY OUR GROUP IN FEBRUARY 2001, AND IT UNDERWENT A RE-SPRAY INTO CROSVILLE, GREEN NBC LIVERY FOR RALLIES.
SOLD TO MR DAVIES IN 2003.
HE DID SOME PRESERVATION WORK ON BEFORE SELLING IT IN 2006 TO WYN LLOYD OF LLOYDS COACHES IN MACHYNLLETH.
THE PLANS ARE FOR IT TO BE A PRESERVATION VEHICLE AND POSSIBLY A SPARE SERVICE BUS.
